The STM intercooler kit for 2023+ Corolla GR is handcrafted in-house utilizing a 3.8" thick Garrett core rated to flow 1000 HP. Includes stainless steel wrinkle black intercooler piping along with all couplers, clamps, brackets and install hardware.

"The intercooler is a known weak point of the GRC platform, and this STM kit definitely corrects that!! We've got some logs, a dyno sheet, and some draggy results to show how good this FMIC kit really is.

• Gained a peak of 10 HP & 10 TQ with no other changes!
• Draggy Results went from 105mph 1/4 mile trap speed to 108mph trap speed - with no other changes!
• Stock FMIC Dyno Pull = 15 degree temp rise
• STM FMIC Dyno Pull = Steady IAT's or decreasing IAT's that approach ambient temp.
• Stock FMIC 1/4 mile pass = 10 degree rise in IAT's
• STM FMIC 1/4 mile pass = Completely steady IAT's
• Upgraded the factory 1.5" intercooler piping to a complete 2.5" kit.

The installation is very straightforward and can be reversed if you want to put your car back to stock. A total of (4) plastic air guides need to be slightly trimmed, as well as the lower bumper support (needs to be clearanced for the larger intercooler core). We also elected to trim the upper center support so that could also be retained. We ended up mounting the ambient temperature sensor to that bracket. The kit comes complete with some very nice billet intercooler support brackets, and the upgraded piping fits great even with the substantial size increase!

What really surprised us and something we've never experienced with an intercooler upgrade, was the increase in throttle response. At idle, if you floor the car, the RPMs climb significantly faster and is something that we noticed right away. We concluded that the 1.5" piping and the stock intercooler present enough of a restriction, creating a pressure drop that actually hurts throttle response.

Overall, this FMIC Kit really impressed us. Not only with how nicely it installs, but also with the undeniable data that proves that this is a high quality upgrade."
